There are days when even our loved ones  feel like strangers and we can’t ask them for help and even share what’s going inside us ,  Times like this is when I learned the only person I can call out and cry for help is the inner me, the one who’ is stronger, bolder and can hold herself together .  And she never disappointed me … it was me who encouraged myself to go on through .. she gave me the answers I wanted and made me hope that one day everything will be just alright . Every time I put up the courage to go out, all I see around me is people staring at me with pity , wondering what happened to her , why is she walking like that , what’s wrong with her , why is she walking so weird , poor disabled girl .  People come up to me and ask why I am not using a wheelchair..!? These looks and words cuts me like a knife and I am the only one to know I m bleeding .  But  I smile and shake it off just because ……  one day I am gonna prove that I don’t need your wheelchair , I’ll walk as much as I Am able .. We are all called “individual” for a reason. The urge to fit into society is not needed. We are all our own special kind. I always thought people will look at me differently and they still do, But you know what, I don’t care anymore. I would thank those people now who left me when I needed them , who low key were pleased to see me helpless; it’s because of them , that I am resilient today . I am more stronger than I would have ever become.  I am ready to face all the challenges and  i don’t need someone like you to hold me .  I may fall walking on my own , but I am not gonna hold a hand . I am powerful . I am independent.🌹 Betrayal doesn’t hurt me anymore because somewhere in hindsight , I knew it , but I still kept searching the good in you . My faith isn’t broken and it will never be. There’s still so much good left in the world .  I just have learned to read between the lines and recognise the true nature of people . 🍀 .
